I too have had mine for a couple of years and have had an enormous amount of use. It has been very easy to clean. Until now that is. But, with so much use even the non-stick plates wear out sometime! Worth buying.

Totally agree with the other review. I have had mone for years now and it is amazing! I am a firm believer that most things are better toasted. This is a must for students, paninis, bagels, wraps, sandwiches and potato waffles the list goes on..... easy to use and clean really worth the £

I've had this for quite a while now, possibly two years and had no problems. It makes great toasted sandwiches even from frozen bread, also due to it's hinged lid, you can have a large amount of filling and it won't all get squeezed out. It's extremely easy to clean, especially compared to the clamshell type toasters.
