The printed circuit board ketp breaking down and had to be replaced several times until the repair engineer wrote the freezer off as it continully froze up, in the fridge compartment as well as the freezer compartment.

I wish I had read the two reviews that were already here before wasting time and money on one of these useless machines, as they say DON'T BUY IT! I bought it for the same obvious reasons -- large freezer compartment and apparently good value. However, I suffered the same faults after only 15 months, the freezer lost freezing power the warning light came on and more money was spent on an engineer who confirmed that it was not worth repairing. Indesit "customer services" were no help whatsoever. Quite indifferent and not sounding terribly surprised that a nearly new machine had totally failed -- my previous fridge freezer lasted 12 years, is only replace because it became a little noisy. Indesit saw no urgency in the problem and indeed no reason to offer any assistance, no apology, no responsibility, no gesture of goodwill and no sense of the shame they ought decently to show for inflicting this rubbish on the British public. You have been warned!

Currently had at least 5 call outs (too many to actually remember) and on my second unit. Would not recommend this unit to anyone. DON'T BUY IT

After lots of searching for a fridge freezer with a good sized freezer compartment, we settled on the Indesit C239NF frst free. For 18 months all went well until suddenly the freezer defrosted & the warning light came on. Alas, after an engineer visit, we were told that it was beyond economical repair & that our #350.00 Italian cooler was dead. Sadly, we are now stuck in no mans land trying to persuade the manufacturer & the supplier that Xmas will be hard with two small children & no freezer to stock up in.
