Reviewed by Tony M on 23/06/2010 After my experience with this freezer I will not touch another Hotpoint or Ariston product ever again. I have the same fault as many other owners where the freezer packs in and you get a loud clicking sound from a relay behind the top front panel. The 5 year parts warranty is not worth it as you have to pay £100+ for the engineer. may as well cut losses and put the money towards a new fridge/freezer Rating:

Reviewed by B. McAllister on 18/01/2010 Fridge stopped working just after the years warranty ran out. Freezer fine. Costs to repair expensive so we bought a new thermostat and tried that but still fridge not working.....What a let down. We will not be buying another hotpoint. Rating:    
Reviewed by Erica on 05/06/2009 fridge doesn't cool properly and stopped working after 16 months four months after the warranty expired. Had to cough out more money £104 for engineer to attend £164 over 10 months. Very unreliable product. Engineer came after 5 days, couldn't fix it, then ordered a compressor which he thought coud be the fault.......this was going to arrive in a weeks time. Anyway got fed up and with my extended warranty, got a replacement with same rubbish brand at a discount........supposedly!!Would have prefered a different brand, but I'm stuck with them for another.....Will let you know how long it lasts. By the way, rubbish customer care by Hotpoint. Rating:
