We bought this fridge - aweful!! Same problem as previous reveiwer. Fan ices up, ice in bottom of freezer. Regularly have to de-ice. Pull out all the drawers and de-ice fan with hair dryer. Finaly given up the ghost and fed up with food not being cold. Will not ever be buying Hotpoint freezer again.

Within 14 months it was incredibly noisy. Hotpoint send a "repair specialist" for the princely sum of £95 to have a look. The noise was due to "ice in the fan". How can you get ice in the fan of a frost-free freezer? He removed the ice 9 monnths later same problem...£95 paid again. 10 months after that same problem....He finally said the whole product needs replacing. Hotpoint with relace for a concessional price of £250!! Even though the product was obviously faulty, because the initial problem was after 12 months of buying it they wont replace the product. Very poor after sales service. Extremely expensive engineers. Don't buy it.

Owned for two years. Very Noisey, Unreliable poor and expansive serve from Hotpoint
