CHECK OUT ALL THE OTHER REVIEWS & ON OTHER WEBSITES AS WELL & THEN MAKE MAKE YOUR OWN MIND UP! (SHOULD TAKE ALL OF 2 SECONDS TO DO SO!) AVOID FF200E & HOTPOINT CUSTOMER SERVICES! Rating:
Reviewed by bill murray on 11/06/2010 i would never buy a hotpoint again the internal casing of the freezer falls apart .the first one was replaced the second one is just as bad it seems to be made of very thin plastic paid over £400 it wasnt worth £40 in my opinion, the worst appliance i have ever bought Rating:
Reviewed by Helen Donovan on 06/06/2010 This product has failed 4 times in 3 years. First the freezer failed, an engineer was called and he had to defrost the frost free freezer by dismantling the back of the inside of the freezer unit. Then the door seal failed. Then the fridge failed twice in quick succession. The engineer had the cheek to say that UK designs are not cut out for working in extreme hot weather and also I had to defrost it every year (it doesnt say that ANYWHERE in the instructions manual). Am off to do battle with Hotpoint, though we don't hold out much hope as we have since found realms of complaints on the internet about this and other Hotpoint products. We have an extended guarantee, but it is about as much use as a chocolate watch in the desert, as they won't replace or refund just fix, which of course by the time they come out it is working again after having been switched off for a day or two. It is not fit for purpose, has cost us a fortune in wasted food, warranties and time and is a complete pain having to wait in for engineers 8-6. DON'T BUY A HOTPOINT ANYTHING. THEY ARE COMPLETE RUBBISH AND THEIR CUSTOMER SERVICE IS EVEN WORSE. Rating:

Reviewed by bes@charmf.demon.co.uk on 24/09/2008 Bought mine in December 2006 for nearly 400 quid. Had all the problems mentioned below, and more. On September 1 2008, the retailer who sold it to me as Frost Free - which after all is where the FF part of FF200E comes from - (Comet), took it away for 7.5 quid to be scrapped. I have replaced the FF200E with a separate fridge and freezer. I would advise anyone reading this to stay clear of ANY fridge freezers that claim to be frost free. In my opinion the FF200E is unfit for purpose. Mine, was the worst value for money I have EVER had, and the only refridgerator to fail in my family in over 45 years. Rating:
