The water supply system within the fridge is of a poor quality plastic piping and connectors. We have had our GE fridge for a little over three years during which time this system has failed/ leaked over five times. Back up from GE via hotpoint is appalling with huge costs being asked for small plastic replacement parts. I would definately not recommend this companies refrigeration products. I am about to replace this fridge as we have given up on the ice water dispensor which is one of the features we consider important on a fridge
