Bought this fridge freezer July 2006. Went wrong in the same way as described in January 2007. Initially Customer Services gave me a date of 10 days for the repair but fitted me in more quickly in the meantime. The engineer took 2 hours with a hairdrier defrosting the back of the freezer and said it was some kind of blockage. Four months later the fridge was again not working. I telephoned customer service manager and told her the appliance was not fit for purpose and she said she would send an engineer and would speak to him when he arrived. He took a quick look at the rear and it was then agreed to change the item. When the deliverer brought the new one he told us this was a design fault with all of these items but they had been adjusted and the new model should be O K. Now 6 months (December 2007) later this new model also has the fridge not working. I asked Bosch if they would just take it away as I no longer want this appliance and they refused. The review only gives the option of 1 - 5 but I would actually give it 0. I will not be buying a Bosch product again. Rating: Reviewed by chris on 19/02/2007 Broke after 5 months due to fridge pipe freezing at the bqck. engineer said common on this model and some hotpoint ones. Thinkill buy a cheap but reliable Beko or LG Rating:
