Nicely finished, good features but identical problem to previous reviewers. AEG approved engineer has advised that a gas leak is responsible (fridge warm, freezer temerature beginning to rise and compressor running all the time). Bad news, they consider it a write-off which is very poor for a £700 appliance after less than 4 years.

Same as previous reviewer, fridge would not cool down. The appliance was replaced, and the new one went the same way. The total was 4 failures in under 4 years. I'm now having a different model, thanks to a free 5 year warranty deal!

This is a great looking refridgerator freezer combination and is highly satisfactory... when it works. We've had ours three or four years and there is some kind of fault that is preventing the refridgerator cooling down. I suspect it is the digital control module as the DV was wandering but the cooling compartment is at ambient temperature. We have a number of expensive AEG products and almost all have developed faults within two years of buying them. Our Lavamat-Turbo washer dryer is superb... when it works. We had it five months and the electronic control module failed and had to be replaced. DMS
