Considering this was an expensive F/Freezer when we bought it, and at the time it was voted Which best F/F, and has the good looks but it has only lasted 3 years, before breaking down just out side its extended warranty period. which in hindsight is quite poor, I had a Hotpoint before this and that lasted 14 years, so I have decided that with a family of five, and not wanting to be left without a fridge again for any length if time to once again purchase a Hotpoint. I also understand that the life expectancy of a fridge/freezer is only 4 years so be ware when purchasing an expensive fridge.
