dont buy, door seals useless, drawer whilst large have a tendency to become to brittle and bits break of making them virtuly unusable

Great freezer with wonderfully big drawers which fit just about anything in including a huge turkey! useful narrower drawers for ice, smaller items. never had any problems

do not ever buy one of these freezers within one year of buying i had the repair man out 4 times to replace the door seal and eventually try to replace the door. The door that he brought had a hole in it when he tried to fit it. he told me that the door and the seal was a common fault on this model. I eventually took it back and got a new different freezer. buyers beware

Do not buy this machine. We have to frequently defrost it. The drawers are flimsy, if you fill one with meat or anything fairly heavy the bottom of the draw bends and the draw then comes off the runners, it is then difficult to close again

Hotpoint came out 4 times to try to stop water dripping inside the freezer and have ended up having to change it to a different model for me. Doror seal was changed and spacers put in and one engineer said this was a frequent problem with these.

We bought an RZA64 freezer and RLA64 matching fridge from Hotpoint last year. We finally accepted the 4th freezer they delivered, out of desperation,as each previous unit was damaged or non-functioning, although even this this one had a dent in the side. This was despite Hotpoint's assurances that it would be quality checked before delivery. That's 4 days wasted waiting for the deliveries. This final unit has never worked properly and we have had the engineer out twice to fix door seals and put spacers in the hinges. That's another two days spent waiting in for his arrival. Hotpoint's quality control (or lack of it) is only surpassed by their totally indifferent customer service and we cannot possibly recommend them or their products to anyone. Take our advice - buy a Bosch/AEG/Liebherr and save a load of hassle!
