Reviewed by A reviewer on 07/01/2007 This appliance was a great disappointment to us. It is poorly designed and performance was no better than the 11 year old machine that it replaced. Although Miele uses the cutlery tray as a selling point, it significantly compromises the rest of the dishwasher. The cutlery tray is hard to load (takes at least 3 times as long as a basket) and takes up a lot of room at the top of the dishwasher. The top rack has three positions: in the lowest position, standard dinner plates cannot fit in the lower part of the dishwasher. In the upper position, standard size bowls will not fit in the upper section. The middle position doesn't allow plates on the lower section or bowls on the upper section. To add to all this, there is a bar running the length of the upper basket making loading it even more difficult. Overall the internal design means that there is far less internal room than competing models. Wash quality was also poor, most noticeably on the cutlery tray. The only really positive thing I can say about this dishwasher is that it is very quiet in operation. Rating:
