DO NOT BUY THIS MAKE OR MODEL . We bought an FDM 550PR and found within two weeks that it didnt wash or dry properly and was incredibly noisy in operation. Hotpoint , to be fair, sent out a procession of Engineers and finally a replacement machine...... But this machine whilst competent in cleaning and quiet in operation again skips the drying cycle completely!! Replacement number two is on its way !

The machine is 2 years old and has been very noisy and does not clean properly since we had it. Had engineer out after we got it. Told us not to use rinse aid or salt. Tried this and it made no difference. It can not be put on over night as it's far too noisy. We have had this machine before and had no problems previously with noise and cleanliness issues. Would not buy this model again.
