Reviewed by Pauline Dalgleish on 13/11/2010 This is without doubt the worst dishwasher we have ever bought - so much so that within a week of having it installed we have gone out and bought a different one. To start with it just doesnt clean pans on the bottom basket - and you cannot get more than 2 saucepans in if you have plates as well: nothing is ever dry enough to put away in the cupboard; even on the top basket there are stains left on coffee mug; there is barely enough room for an 8 place setting, let alone the 12 they claim; with the upper basket lowered you cannot get normal size dinner plates into the bottom basket without the spray arm bashing them when washing, and if you have the upper basket at its highest, you cannot get an ordinary wine glass in. I could go on forever. The runners dont run smoothly and the basket will come off its rails if pushed too hard, we spent hours trying to find the markings on the rinse aid dispenser and salt water softener and needed a torch to do so in the end. Even the "shortest" programme lasts one and a half hours (and that is supposed to be an eco-friendly wash!) and even the longest at 2 hours 44 minutes still doesnt dry everything. Dont go there whatever you do - and it's not exactly a cheap one! If Baumatic would like to buy it back at a reduced price they are welcome to make an offer but otherwise it will go on the scrapheap - I wouldnt sell it to a friend. Rating:
