Reviewed by TRINA ROBERTS on 16/01/2006 THE SPRING IN THE LID DOESNT LAST LONG, SO THE LID ONLY STAYS UP ABOUT 4 INCHES ,MAKING IT DIFFICULT TO PUT THE CHIPS IN WITHOUT BURNING YOUR HANDS ON THE LID. THE LID ON MINE HAS WARPED TOO, SO IT SPRIINGS OPEN 4 INCHES
DURING USE. THE FILTERS ARE HARD TO FIND TO REPLACE. THE TEFLON PAN HAS
COME LOOSE FROM THE MAIN BODY. THE HINGE RECESSES ARE REALLY AWKWARD TO
CLEAN, AND THE SIDES GET VERY OILY VERY QUICKLY. Rating:
Reviewed by Fivish on 20-05-2005 This is an expensive but very poor fryer. However, it's not the frying capability thats the issue. The lid has a poorly designed spring and hinge which in no time at all will lose it's effectiveness and the lid wont stay up. It's also very hard to clean the lid and the hinge recesses. The bowl itself is teflon but its still requires a good deal of elbow grease! The rubber feet inserts are very easy to lose which makes the thing wobble until they are all lost! Best avoided.
