I love this deep fryer with all its safety features!! But I have one problem - since moving to Australia and cant get another one as mine didnt travel well!!!! PLEASE HELP and tell me where or how i can purchase the EXACT SAME FRYER. Would appreciate any suggestions - we miss it terribly.

I have had this fryer for 3 1/2 years now with absolutely no problems, and it has had a lot of use. It is a good fryer, makes good chips, and is good from a safety point of view - it is very stable on the worktop, it's shape making it well balanced. However, you do tend to get a small pool of oil at the back where it has run through the hinge mechanism. Negligible. You can chuck the bowl and lid (once you've taken it apart) in the dishwasher, although I wouldn't recommend this as your dishwasher will be filthy afterwards for ages. I think you can get this in a plastic finish, which in hindsight would be preferable to stainless steel as it's probably easier to keep clean. All in all, a great product.
