Does an excellent job and really easy to keep clean. You can remove the electrical base and place everything EXCEPT the electrical base into the dishwasher every time an oil change is due. Between uses, you can filter the oil into the supplied container (when the oil has cooled down enough) and wipe the inner bowl and basket clean with kitchen roll. Probably the last deep fat fryer that's NOT made in China - this one is made in France, but not on Tefal's website. Best get it while you can - they won't be making them this good anymore. Finally, tip for owners, you can fold the basket handle down and keep the basket within the bowl when you put it into the dishwasher (upside down) to save space in the dishwasher.

We bought a Pro Fry Oleoclean Fryer last May & although it had been working fine, this Sunday night the seals on the fryer broke down & the fryer emptied the entire oil load onto the kitchen worktop overnight. The oil ran into the gas hob, electric oven & all over the floor Obviously we are hugely disappointed with the product & will be returning it to where we bought it from & demanding a full refund DO NOT BUY THIS PRODUCT!
