Have used frequently over last few months ... works well - great for fish and chips (and a lot cheaper over time!) Clearly, you should not be trying to move it when full of very hot oil but if you pick it up using the handles on each side of the main body then there is no problem even if full of cooled vegetable oil. Main problem is that you must cook with the lid off and therefore some "spray mist" of oil occurs. I find it best to cover the "local area" of kitchen worktop. The fryer comes apart easily to enable filtering/pouring of the oil back into its container and for cleaning. However, cleaning is rather laborious if you don't have a dishwasher; vegetable oil residue is difficult to remove with just very hot water and washing-up liquid, even from this stainless steel product. I am looking for an alternative cleaning solution! Overall, a good, modestly priced product that does its job well and should last longer than the plastic-bodied alternatives.

Not too bad to start with and worked for about about a month. Then little illuminated powerswitch broke so sent it back to supplier for a refund.

Great idea in that all components come apart for easy cleaning, however, terrible to use, dangerous handle arrangement that slips out of its holder, unstable element and control panel that is designed to slot at the rear of the stainless steel housing. Difficult to move once full of oil as these removeable components move around too!
