Reviewed by sharon on 11/04/2011 I have had this cooker for 10 years and have not liked it since the day I got it. It is flimsy and has burnt my floor under the cooker (that happen within the fisrt few months), the top is hard to keep clean, nobs are platic so peel and look tatty quickly, the gas oven at the top take atleast one hour to heat up and never really cooks the food, it is only useful for a grill or plate warmer. Bottom oven cooks really good and there is a safety cut-off that is used with the lid only so if your child knocks the nob and turns on the gas you are stuffed if the lid is up. Rating:
Reviewed by Colin on 21/11/2010 Totally agree with finfeatures5, don`t buy this cooker. I have a 600 model which burned the unit door adjacent to the cooker, Stoves told me this cooker needs 20mm gap either side for cooling which i find odd. The grill handle gets dangerously hot as it is in the cooker vent stream and will burn anyone who is not used to it. The cooker vents at the front so all the cooking smells and heat come into the kitchen and not up the rear to the extractor fan Rating:

Reviewed by finfeature5 on 26/01/2008 I bought this as replacement for very ancient New Homes cooker. The oven cooks much better than the old one, but the fan is in the grill section, so oven and grill are connected by a gap at the top of the oven door and heat pours out of the gap, especially if using the grill at the same time. This also means, if you are using the hob, heat is pumping out at waist level, so you have to stand at the side of the cooker to stir anything. If the oven is on high, this is, still, very uncomfortable. Everything gets very hot. Grill is very slow and dries foods, like bacon, up. Grill pan is a very nice size, but only cooks centrally. Pan handle get VERY hot if oven is on. I live alone, so it's ok for me, but if you are cooking for a family I would look elsewhere. In fact I would go as far as to say, this cooker is dangerous if you have young children around, as it gets so hot. Rating:
Reviewed by blossom63 on 25/11/2007 I thought I would try a gas cooker after 15 years with a hotpoint fan oven. Big mistake. The oven doesnt heat up to anywhere near the heat of a fan oven. I miss having a second oven. Cooking is slow and the oven in general isnt as well insulated as my old cooker. I'm going back to electric. Rating:
