Reviewed by Andy F on 21/11/2008 1 yr and 12 days old and bang! Pops the main 32 amp house fuse. Reset; bang again! OK; no point in calling the service guys because it's out of guarantee so let's have a look inside. Must be a dead short somewhere. [PLEASE DON'T DO THIS AT HOME - ALWAYS SEEK QUALIFIED HELP] Horror! One of the hob control knobs had worked loose and as it dropped the half inch or so the power connector had touched the chassis. The build quality of this product from a safety point of view is poor and, in my opinion is also dangerous This unit should be withdrawn from sale. I will never buy Indesit again, nor will I buy any other product associated with them. Rating:
