Reviewed by Miss Gillingham on 08/01/2010 The cooker from hell! Where do I start to tell you the faults? The cooker ignition clicks constantly for the first ten minutes when it is switched on, the top oven broke down after the first 6 months, the buttons on the display panel have melted and the top burners have rusted - I have wasted £400. Reviewed by MCR on 14/10/2008 Having looked forward to my purchase of a new Cannon cooker I have been very disappointed with my Chesterfield. I have been cooking, using the ovens, for a home produce competition at our local agricultural show. Both ovens were not accurate and when baking scones, having bought a thermometer to see how well the ovens performed, put the scones into an oven at 220 degrees C and in less than 10 minutes the temperature had dropped 20 degrees. I have written to Cannon to day as I am still having problems with the ovens. I am very disappointed with this cooker's performance and would not recommend it to any future purchaser. Rating:
Reviewed by J H on 23/09/2008 Having used cannon cookers for the past 20 yeqars I had no hesitation in replacing my old cooker with this new cannon. It has been very disappointing. The new cooker oven failed within 2 weeks and the inside of the oven was warped so the shelves didn't slide in properly. Since it was within one month of purchase, I asked for a replecement. The second new cannon cooker has also been very disappointing - in the first 2 months the ignition for the top burners have failed twice needing an engineer, the main oven thermostat has hadto be replaced and the engineer is about to visit for the 3rd time to try to fix the ignition for the grill. Need I say more? Rating:
