Reviewed by Mr S on 30/08/2011Biggest waste of money you will ever spend ! I have had three repacement thermo couples in 2 years and the oven door has fallen off inc the hanging brackets. Oven is impossible to regulate temp on and grill is a joke.I refuse to spend another penny on this pile of junk and I am now on this site looking for a proper oven. Thanks for ripping me off belling your oven is a - - - - take Rating: ![]() Reviewed by mark on 26/11/2009 I would not recommend this Belling Countrychef cooker, the grill takes ages to respond and mine is either on full belt or its too cold, hard to get inbetween, the fan oven is noisy and cooks very unevenly, the non fan oven is even worse! AVOID Rating: ![]() Reviewed by mrs J on 07/05/2009 ive had the cooker for just 2 weeks after my 20 year old died on me and am returining it already, the hob covering bubbled and set after hot fat was spilt on it, the oven doors have vents on that make the control knobs very hot to touch and the food cooks unevenly, the gas ring covers stain as anything spilt on them soaks in, the fan is noisy and the pan supports are already showing signs of wear - a range cooker should be designed for heavy use this one is not even suitable for light use so I do not recommend this product at all. Rating: ![]() Reviewed by Jacqui on 05/05/2009 Awful hated device! I hate mine and my work mate hates hers. We both 'inherited' them on house sales. Oh did i mention we are both in catering and can cook just fine on decent stuff?. The oven is variable. either burnt or raw... or both. The grill is patchy. the burners are underpowered, the paint finish crackles, the trim on the hob bubbled. Should i go on? i left a 'Stoves' in my old house thinking this was newer and an upgrade. Nope definately not. I'm on this site looking for a replacement. Rating: ![]() Reviewed by Sean Dewis on 22/03/2007 Overall a good cooker to cook on, with one exception - the grill. It's like trying to make toast with a candle. The grill needs a good ten minutes to warm up and then you get a spot down the length of the burner in the centre and at each edge. Don't buy this cooker if the grill is important to you. Otherwise, if you're like me and use lots of hob burners, this cooker is for you! Rating: ![]() ![]() ![]()
