It takes a while to get used to this machine. It isn't what I expected from Gaggia - it honestly doesn't make as good a cup as my much smaller Krups machine. I will persist with it, but am quite frankly disappointed. Some things are great - the side fill water tank, the quality of the group head, the performace of the frother. But getting the amount of coffee right is critical, locking in the group head is a pain - the machine is so light you need to hold it down - it often leaks out around the group head. It isn't the easiest machine to get a good crema. I have a broken Gaggia Classic which I will resurrect and compare, and if it is even as good as my Krups, the Evolution will go!
