This is my all time favourite kitchen gadget. I spent ages researching coffee machines and they all had problems: hugely expensive; taking ages to heat up; difficult to clean. The Tassimo suffers from none of these problems. Let me take you on a journey through this fabulous machine. 1. Switch on. 2. Open the lid (ah, soft lift-up!). 3. Remove the old T-disc for recycling. 4. Insert the new T-disc (masses of choice by the way - hot choc and teas as well as every variety of coffee that you'd find in Starbucks). 5. Press the button. 6. Wait 30 seconds while it splutters out hot dark liquid into your cup and fills the kitchen with a heavenly aroma. 7. That's it! No cleaning needed! Open the lid again if you don't believe me - it's perfectly clean. Every 6 months I run a descaling solution through it, because I live in a hard water area (Thames Valley). It is so easy, so quick, so environmentally friendly, so beautiful and so nice. Oh my god, I'm going to make another double espresso right now.
