Unlike the dreadful Concorde 32 mower on which the design is clearly based this machine represents good value for money. It's capable of removing thatch and moss from up to medium sized lawns with relative success.
However, the lightness of construction does mean that conditions have to be just right for it to work but with short grass and damp soil it will do an acceptable job.
Don't get me wrong, I wouldn't want to rely on it if I were raking a bowling green, tennis court or cricket pitch but for the money, and
providing that you're prepared to give it a bit of assistance with a spring-tine rake and a stiff brush, it'll make a good addition to the shed of anyone who wants a lawn rather than a patch of grass outside their house.
