Reviewed by Keith Thompson on 01/08/2009 My brother, my nephew and myself all have Mounfield Princess lawn mowers. My brothers was the first to go after 15 years faithfully service with no maintenance required. He had no hesitation in buying a replacement but within 3 years this mower is failing. The blade came off after a couple of runs on its first outing, then at the end of last year the blade height adjustment knob was no longer in place and has not been found. They are no longer made in England but are made in Italy and as one of the most expensive electric lawnmowers (due to the induction motor which costs £95.00 to replace)you should expect better than this. I am having second thoughts about replacing mine. Rating:
Reviewed by Jenny on 03/06/2009 I agree with other reviewers. Had mine for 21 years. Never been serviced or even blade sharpened and it is still going strong. What an amazing piece of technology. I will definitely buy another. I cannot understand why you would want to buy anything else. I wish my car was so cheap to run and so reliable. Rating:
