I purchased an SST16 in 2001. The unit is unsafe due to a built-in "safety
feature" that takes steering control away from the operator when the unit
is operating on a slope that it determines is too steep. The unit will
start going down the slope to find level or "safe" ground. If you are on a slope leading that goes to a lake, ravine or other dangerous obstacle, the unit will take you directly to it. This can be extremely dangerous.
