Bought mine about 2002/2003 and been very pleased with it. It does tend to leave bits of cut grass nowadays which it didn't use to but then it is pretty old now. The blade is on the way out and although I was thinking of buying a new mower, I've decided to get a new blade for this one instead. Although I have a small front garden, my back garden for a modern house is pretty big and it gets though it no problem.

Disappointed with this one. The collection of cuttings to the top of the machine is a great idea, but the means and suction by which they are transported to the hopper is very small and poor, and easily gets clogged up, resulting in cuttings being sprayed all over the lawn. It is very difficult machine to maneouvre. Adjustment of cut is done by removing and replacing spacers on the blade, and not by raising or lowering the machine via a lever. The machine deposits cuttings throughout its interior, as well as in the hopper itself. Cuttings cannot be easily emptied into a container or black bag from the hopper, due to its shape, and size. It has a nice long cable. Look elsewhere.

Blade stopped turning? Turn off electric supply to machine, remove blade screw, remove blade, remove black disk, restore drive belt to pully, has a tendency to drift off main pulley.
