I aquired a Flymo 330 Vision Compact 2 years ago from my partners daughter. She actually swapped it for my old trusty Flymo that didnt have a collection box on it, so I thought I was on a winner! How wrong can you be. In the 2 years I've had it I only ever used it a few times because the useless item wouldn't pick up the grass . Yes it would cut it, but then I'd spend all afternoon sweeping the the b----y cuttings up. I thought I was doing something wrong until I happened by this review site ! Avoid like the plague.

Don't even think of buying a Flymo. The old ones were great (I still have one from 20 years ago) but the modern ones burn out faster than you can say 'Doh, it's just out of warranty!' Avoid.

Small front wheels fractured off and rolled down slope. Throws out clumps of grass which have to be picked up by hand. A nightmare to keep clean!

Mine is unfortunately still working.. it is without doubt the worst lawnmower I have ever used. Hover, no it doesn't not even when empty. Cutting near any borders or patio sends grass everywhere else but in the collection box. Takes twice as long to do my garden with this machine and the cut looks awful. Only good feature is the cable reel tidy.

Motor burnt out in 14 months just out of warranty, neighbour watching as i put out smokey lawnmower laughed at my dismay only for his to burn out a week later. Just found out my work colleague has had exactly the same. Common fault absolutely useless. Does FLYMO stand for Faulty Lawnmower Yes Motor Overheated

Motor burnt out on approx 6th time of using for no apparent reason-grass dry, no too long & not aware of any obstructions. Had a similar problem with the Vision 330 last year. Compacting action makes for messy cleaning & clumps of wet grass regularly sprayed over lawn. Nice cut, but faults outweigh & cannot recommend

Cheap nasty machine that only lasted two summers before the motor overheated and burnt out. Very noisy. 'Box full' system never worked. Needed to be emptied every 30 paces or machine couldn't lift up and hover enough to cut grass.

I really couldn't recommend this lawnmower to anyone. It churned my lawn into a mud bath whenever the grass was slightly damp. I was actually quite relieved when it broke down a couple of months after purchasing it. It gave me an excsue to but a new mower. Don't make the same mistake as me.

cuts grass great but hardley collects the cuttings. Also cuttings blew over drive so you have the task of sweeping up.Dont know if all machines are the same.
