Reviewed by J Marshall 2 on 13/12/2009 Bought one of these mowers about 2 years ago and the motor has just gone on it and to repair it would cost almost as much as a new mower, so am now looking to replace it. For a reasonably expensive electric mower I would have expected to get more than 2 years out of it! Also it was never very good cutting long or wet grass and the grass collection is woeful and it was always getting clogged. It is quite heavy and a bit of a handful to manouver Rating:

Reviewed by a. user on 02/04/2008 bought a 340 on monday - front wheel fell off on tuesday - took it back to shop and got refund. The wheel fixing arrangement seems to be a design flaw. Rating:
Reviewed by M Johnson on 08/11/2007 Had Flymo compact 340 from start of the season performed ok but now noticed the rear roller ends are getting worn and the roller keeps coming off anybody had the same problem seems to be a design fault Rating:
Reviewed by Clive Simpson on 03/07/2007 Two weeks out of the warranty period mower begins to smoke then stops altogether. No obvious problem identified and mower couldn't be restarted. Expensive purchase for just one season's of grass cutting! Will not buy another Flymo. Rating:
Reviewed by Steve Morris on 21-04-2006 This is a great mower! After struggling with a rubbish Qualcast cylinder
mower for a year, I finally chucked it in the bin and bought this new Flymo today. It took 30 minutes to unpack and assemble, then straight onto the lawn. It managed the first cut of the year through long grass with ease. 1500W of power makes mincemeat of even the longest grass. Yes!
Power! More power! Love it. Rating:
