I have owned this mower for over 5 years now, and have to say i agree with Len V's review pretty much exactly. The grass box is definitely the weak link, and aside from the grass spilt every time you empty, the box design also doesn't form a very good seal with the mower - the bottom lip of the grass box leaves a gap with the mower body. i find its weight to be acceptable - lighter than many comparable, and the finish it produces to be very good. in over 5 years of ownership (serviced annually), there have been 3 part failures - 2 connected with the rear roller, and 1 a broken drive handle/lever. i would say that the roller is definitely something that should be improved as it does look rather fragile (compared to a hayter). a 3.5 would be fair, so on balance given Len was generous i shall be less so....

I have owned this machine for 18 months and I have to admit it has a number of very good points for instance starting and adjusting speeds is first class. It has the feel of quality being quite solid but ladies may find it a little on the heavy side. It cuts well close to the edges and I like the one wheel adjustment for height and the quick folding handle. Now for the week points I do hope the grass box will be redesigned because although it looks streamlined it cannot be removed without spilling a large amount due to the fact it has to be tipped slightly to remove. Also there are too many slots holes and cavities making cleaning difficult. To finalize if I am marking out of 5 I would say it is better than 3 but just makes a four. len V
