Takes forever to load compared to the DS, using an optical disk system gives it more memory space for games but does leave you waiting a lot. The alalogue sider is horrible to use and useless for FPS. Battery life is OK if not using Wi-Fi. If you want a Games console, get a DS. If you want a multi media player that happens to also play games, get a PSP.

A good console to be with if your in a car and special if you are in a plane this little handy console can keep you entertain until you land but this console is not a console that you would expect to play everyday for example xbox 360 a console you would play everyday as it has a great graphics and games but the psp doesn't have a lot of great games so its only good if your are travelling.

Yes its great, movies don't work very well however, difficult to get on. Music is great. Although for its size, the PSP is the best handheld console possible, if you've played its best games like Football Manager, Grand Theft Auto or Pro Evolution Soccer on the Playstation or other console, then you can't help but be disapointed, they just can't compare. Buy a console instead unless you do a lot of travelling.

Out of this world screen and Liberty City Stories, what else is there to say. Gran Turismo will be awesome. Got mine in white (Bewm!) but 32mb card what's that about, even mobiles don't ship with that. Come on Sony loosen the purse strings!

Not much to say about this except that it is one of the best products to come out of Sony and it is just amasing..btw this is a lot better than the ds because on the ds you can only play little games with low graphic quality..but on the PSP you can do everything from watch films ,play each other wirelssly ,listen to music and of course play spectacular games with high quality graphics.

I recently brought a PSP with value pack whilst visiting the States. I managed to find one after about my forth attempt, one guy told me that they tend to sell out on the day they arrive, so they are obviously very popular. My main reason for the purchase was for game play whilst travelling, however the PSP console offers far more including video, music and photo playback options. After the initial battery charging which took around 2 to 3 hours, the system set-up was very easy and intuitive, with all the usually options such as language, time zone, date/time and nickname. The screen display is excellent offering a 4.3 inch (16.9) LCD screen with over 16 million colour resolution. Game play is very much the same as the other non-portable family members, with great graphic and sound playback. The UDM (Universal Media Disc) on which the games come are very small and compact, with additional outer casing to make loading and ejecting very easy. My value pack included: - Headphones with remote control - Memory Stick Duo (32MB) - Wrist Strap (Although this was White! So I don’t think I would use it) - Protective Pouch - Cleaning Cloth - And example software. Additional I also purchased a separate plastic screen cover that you apply directly to the screen to prevent scratching. The video playback is excellent, with quite a few movie titles available to buy (especially online), obviously when the PSP is released in the UK this will grow. Again the movies come on the UMD or can be played via the memory stick in MPEG-4 format (although you may need to upgrade to a larger memory stick to do this). Likewise MP3’s can be used for music playback with very satisfactory results and JPEG’s can be used for photo’s, which is excellent when run with the built in slide show facility. My next plan of action is to look into the wireless capability, which I will review shortly… If you like the Playstation 1 or 2 you will love this…
