Reviewed by sarah gordon on 02/12/2007I have had my ds for nearly 2 years and i have never had a problem with it except when you have to type your name in to save your game the letter you click on does not come up but with a different letter. I think the ds has good graphics and is better than the ds lite which is a little to bulky for my likeing. Rating: ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() Reviewed by azza on 16/02/2007 I think this the DS is not what it seems like, I think that there are good points as well as bad points for the ds, firstly I've had one since christmas 2005 and there has been not one problem with it, another thing is the wi-fi connection which is brilliant especially when u wirelessly play 2 player. The touch screen is very good too but the ds is rather bulkish and the screen seems dull compared with the ds lite, overall not a bad console Rating: ![]() ![]() ![]() Reviewed by mark on 25-01-2006 got it for christmas it is amazing especially with the electric blue couler Rating: ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() Reviewed by Danny on 01-01-2006 The Nintendo DS is not what it seems. When I first saw the design of this new handheld console I thought it was merely an upgraded Gameboy Advance SP. But the DS holds never before seen handheld gaming features, such as the interactive touchscreen, Pictochat - which enables you to chat to other DS owners in online chatrooms, and new games with 3D graphics, which is a huge step forward for handheld gaming. But there are two bad things about the Nintendo DS. 1)The size of the console. It is much larger than it's predessor; the Gameboy Advance SP. 2)The size of the screens. The two screens are too small. They could've been made at least a couple of millimetres wider. Another good thing about the DS is the fact you can also play your favourite Gameboy Advance and Gameboy Colour games on the Nintendo DS. The DS games are incredibly small, just like tiny memory cards(which is what they are really, except they have a whole game stored on them.) Overall, I have had a lot of fun with this console, and I would recommend it to anyone. Rating: ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() Reviewed by Jon on 19-10-2005 waste of money , games are poor , looks like junk plays like it don't buy it buy a psp Rating: ![]() Reviewed by e. hughes on 19-08-2005 I got an american one a month before it came out in u.k and i have not regreted it one bit it is great. The touch screen is brill and the battery power is long lasting all in all a great machine Rating: ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() Reviewed by S on 18-08-2005 I don't own one but had a play of my mate's little brother's. And to be fair, he did only have The Sims on there. I didn't get on with the stick thing that well, but then again, it could've been the way the game itself was laid out.... far too fiddly if you ask me.... give me a PlayStation anyday! Rating: ![]() ![]() Reviewed by Andrew May on 25-07-2005 I have owned a Nintendo DS from the release date. I have found it to be a good source of amusement. It can't compare to the likes of the Sony PSP but it's cheaper and the games are simple but very enjoyable. There aren't very many high quality graphical deep story games, the ones that are available just don't have the enjoyablity of the simpler ones. I think this console deserves a high rating because the games the way you can play games is orignal and fun. Rating: ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]()
