The New Tannoy Fusion range offers a choice of loudspeakers for home cinema or hi-fi applications of truly outstanding performance and value. The Fusion line-up comprises two bookshelf models, two floor-standers, a centre channel and a rear effects loudspeaker. Materials and components have been carefully selected to maximise the system performance and offer real acoustic benefits. Solid wood material for the cabinet construction, including a substantial 19mm MDF front baffle, provide the essential cabinet rigidity required of a good loudspeaker design. To cater for both modern and more traditional décor, all the models are offered in either an apple wood or dark oak vinyl veneer.

If you want a very detailed, accurate speaker that will excite you for a very reasonable price the new Tannoy Fusion (Mercury in the US) line will do just that
I have the F1 as the Rear, the F4 as the Front L & R and the Centre channel
These speakers perform as well if not better than most speakers twice their price
The F1 lacks bass, but is very detailed and makes a great bookshlef speaker if you lack space - The F2 is MUCH better and only slightly larger.
The Centre Channel requires about 200 hours run in, but after that it dissappears and all you have is very detailed sound.
The F3 is a great floor standing speaker and has almost the same tech spec as the F4 and performs amzingly well - if you want somthing a little smaller
The F4 - FABULOUS! - but quite large
Finally, drums that sound like drums!
This is a very fast, uncoloured, detailed speaker with an extremely flat frequency response that will blow you away (don't forget - for the price)
Although I bought them for my surround system I love listening to music on them and after a year of listening they still suprise me with their detailed and accurate performance.
What I do not like....
- the port is visible when the cover is in place and is an ideal size for Lego bricks and small cars - for those who have kids - there is a foam plug that you can insert - but nothing to stop that ending up inside.
- the terminals on the back are the cheapest component and can strip easily - so I've had to use banana plugs.
If you have money to burn - move on up to some of the other Tannoy models - they're wonderful too. But give these a listen - they will suprise you
