I bought this a month ago from Halfords for £117.It is pretty easy to install and ready to go.Maps are good and the bluetooth works pretty well, though the sound quality is not that great.I had to return the unit back today as the voice on the system fai;ls intermittently and I had to keep switching it on and off. Also yesterday the charger got stcuk and while pulling it out the plunger got loose ,then stoped working.Took it back to Halfords and they gave me a new unit.Good customer service.Haven't opened it yet.Thinking wether to exchange it for TOM TOM or Gramin.I suppose all units have some fault.I use it mostly in London.

Purchased this back in May 2008, and must say very pleased with what i purchased for a steal at £130. Have had couple of Navman units over years, both of which were PDA format (Pin & Pin 570), and although the S80 is not a PDA, it makes up for missing functions for navigation alone. Preloaded UK and Europe maps are very good, large clear buttons, Bluetooth, Traffic, Speed Cameras, and the very easy to use desktop software make this a great all round unit. Traffic is good, but somewhat sketchy given that most Satnavs in UK only use 1 station for their RDS radio link, unfortunately with quite a few Grey spots around the country. Saying that, i've only really used around M25 and M1 but most of these areas are ok to good. Automatic re-route is relatively quick, but can't comment too much, given i've never looked at the competition's units and how quick they are. I do like the the desktop software's mileage reporter. You will need to set your unit to record your trips, o r software will not bring over by your command? Copies details to Excel .CSV format, and you can even stipulate you MPG to go with it. Like Safety Camera warnings as well, as warns with speed limit also... Sure lots of others do this now anyway, but also includes any new variable SC's as discovered recently..... Desktop software is also extremely easy to use, especially when copying POI's to your unit. Only function i can't possibly see myself using at any time, is the Navpix. Looks good for what it does and how it works, but not a function i'm sold on as yet. I would highly recommend this to anyone seeking a unit purely for it's navigation usage alone. Granted, it doesn't have functions to include MP3 etc as with models from it's competitors, but is fraction of price in similar categories, and you get Europe thrown in at no additional cost. So, if you can get at decent price, i recommend for all of the above reasons.....
