Reviewed by Rod Andrews on 30/12/2007 I bought the icn530 as i was about to return to professional driving and thought it would be useful, boy was i wrong. the routing can at times be quite bizarre, it may eventually get you where you want to go, but you'd do better to look at a map pick your route, then when you get near your destination turn it on to find the right street (although beware, normally it will tell you to turn as you pass the street you wanted). Possible the most irritating thing and the reason i'm putting mine on ebay and putting the money towards a tomtom is that it will only give you one route option.Choose "less" motorways and it will ignore your selection and direct you to the nearest motorway. If as navman say you put the motorway as an area to avoid, all it will do is send you to the first motorway junction outside your avoid area. On a recent journey i had gone cross country as the motorway was blocked and even when i was only 25 miles from destination on a road that goes directly there, the icn still wanted us to u turn drive 15 miles back to the motorway, 10 down the motorway then 45 along the n.devon link road?. Basically the best use of a navman is as a trade in on a TomTom. Rating:
