thick black line runs down screen after 18 months 2400 cash wasted

Four years in and the tv now has a thin black line down the middle of the sceen. No extended cover left. after paying over 2500 pounds i feel let down and now stuck with a problem. Dont buy!!

This truly cannot be certified for public use,very poor for tuning,and out of fitting 6 of these units 5 of the tuner units failed in the first 2 months which was replaced at great cost to my company. I would never tuch these again even if they were giving them away.

This tv (Techwood TWP4205PL) was terrible from the start but put up with it. Like many other people the tuner has broken after a year. I am keen to contact anyone with similar problems. Email me on (eddyinsane "at" hotmail "dot " com). Ed

Had the Techwood for about a year now. Quite happy with it. Delivers good picture on dvd vcr and more importantly ps2. Did have a slight problem about 6 months ago, a wee bit of screen burn BUT there are ways to solve this a thing called" washing the pixels" if screen burn accurs then put on a cartoon dvd, something with lots of colours and movement leave this going for a couple of hours. push stop and no more screen burn.

Never had a plasma so not sure if terrible pixalation and screen burn is the norm. Had 3 sets now, each one has a band on the left and very bad pixelation on block colours like grass e.g footy. It's going back, still just under warrenty. Thanx for the 1st review about parts.

Bought one from Currys, had nothing but trouble with it and now the warranty is out can't get any replacement or parts for it... LEAVE IT ALONE
