The Samsung PS50C680 is Samsung's entry-level 3D plasma TV. It's an excellent choice, as 50 inches is the size that offers best value for money and the C680 offers nearly everything that the more expensive Samsung PS50C7000 has, but for quite a lot less money.
The PS50C680 has 1080p full HD resolution, THX certification and uses active shutter glasses. It has 600Hz pictures to virtually eliminate motion blur. The result is a picture that puts most LCD TV's to shame, despite being an entry-level 3D plasma TV. Naturally it's equipped with Freeview HD, and has 4 HDMI ports, so you can connect your Blu-Ray player, home cinema system and games consoles. The one thing that it lacks is an internet connection, and for this you'll have to upgrade to the more expensive C7000 model.
