After lots of research I finaly bought this TV.I must say the picture quality is superb specialy when fed with HD sources (720p and even 1080p which it scales down)I can't see any difference with a full HD 50" Plasma. This model will be discontinued soon so if you are looking for a excellent large plasma TV with Panasonic reputation you should hurry.

I bought this tv about month ago, and I could say I’m more that pleased. I have this mainly in SD use and for that this works perfectly. Picture is smooth, if you look from 4meter. Also sound quality supplied me, usually flat TV sound is quite bad. When I compared this picture in store to Pioneer, I have to say that Pioneer have more deep colors, but pioneer cost 3 times to this so… My opinion is that if you are looking for reasonable price 50” plasma, you can consider this model for sure.
