I have owned this top of the range Viera model for the past 6 months and cannot recommend it highly enough. My first ever plasma model, I find the picture, colour and sound qualities first class. I am unable to get Freeview as I live in the South-west Highlands of Scotland. Formerly a Sky customer, I use this set along with a Humax Freesat HD set top box which has also proved an excellent purchase. Standard TV pictures are very good, but the HD ones are really something else. I have also linked my TV to a Panasonic BluRay player. This tweaks ordinary DVDs to a surprising level, while it makes watching BluRay discs an absolutely superb audio visual treat. This magnificent plasma TV is well worth the few extra pounds at the outset. The cost is rapidly revovered with the quality of viewing experience it provides.
