My TV is less than 2 years old and has broken - I have been told it is the power supply (they think). God knows how much this will cost??????????

I must disagree with the last review,,really sorry to tell yout mate, that i have the same tv, and for gaming its quite amazing,,sure at first the picture quality can b a bit lackin,,,but with sky hd its brilliant, i personaly dont think your using this wonderful tv to itss full potential( try a ps3, with its 1080p input the games dont differ to any other tv out there)

This TV is outstanding - I viewed it in store next to 1080p's running HD DVD and I couldn't tell the difference. Haven't tried the freeview as we are on Sky but sky pictures are as to be expected with a screen this size when viewing non HD content - Somethings are a little ropey and some are good, most are excellent. Most modern films and indeed a lot of older films look absolutely fantastic on this screen, things like corrie are as to be expected not as sharp as they would be in HD. Sound is good - can't push it though as our walls are thin & don't want to upset the neighbours. I wouldn't bother with any of the standard picture settings as they are all far too vibrant (especially oranges/reds), even in Cool setting. I found loads of people posting user settings in forums and tried a few - I soon found a good set up for my eyes. Don't listen to people moaning about screen burn, these screens in their early days suffer from screen RETENTION not BURN if images are kept still (sometimes even for a very short period of time) - using the whitewash function removes retention in a few seconds. Overall I think this is a great TV and am glad I purchased it - the only thing I'd change it for would be the LG60".
