Ok, first things first,this is not a 1080p TV its 720p but quite frankly full HD content and Bluray thru this TV looks the business.(as good as my mates 1080p phillips LCD if not better, but,in my opinion plasma is better this size TV and up) Ive had the LG6900 nearly 2 months now and have to say im still thrilled with this TV. Being my first flat panel HD TV caused me to do some serious homework (as did a modest budget) online and it payed off. The 160GB built in DVR is a great feature and use it all the time and its simplicity itself. Picture quality, contrast and colour is excellent as is motion. Films look deep, clear and cinematic on this TV, i have it hooked up to my PC too and works a treat, my screensavers and visuals on WINDOWS MEDIA PLAYER look fantastic. AND even standard definition digital television looks sharp and HD like, cant wait to sign up for HD subscrption Essentially, what i set out to do was get the best 42inch HD TV i could for not too much o ver 500 and well under a grand and at the £599.99 i got this for i think i must of come pretty close. I cant speak highly enuough of this TV, if you can find a better one for that kind of money WELLDONE and let me know! for value and performance - 5 stars!
