4 years will be in september since i use it. no faults, great sound and video quality. never been such a moment when my battery went low when i realy needed music. i charge it once in 5-7 days, but when i just bought it it was once in 2 weeks. if it had FLAC and mroe memory it`d be priceless forever!

Had this mp3 player since it came out and it is one of the best i have ever used, the sound quality is amazing and the headphones are great. I cannot understand in the slightest how people have said the battery lasts only 5-ish hours when i have had mine running all night (fell asleep!) and used it for the rest of the day as well! Seriously good mp3 player and would recommend to anyone wanting a nice designed mp3 player with many great features, great sound quality and amazing battery life. 5/5

I have been a huge fan of sony NWZ series,i have a NWZ-A816 4GB,beatiful sound, and i put films on it and some music videos,it has a crystal clear picture..it is an amaizing machine.. But..i also bought 2 NWD-B105,2GB stick type walkmans,They sound as Good as the NWZ but both did`nt last long, both have gone faulty, when i switch them on,they stay on for a second and shut down again, but they charge through my usb,and i can access my music while plugged in..i also have a NWD B103,looks same as 105 but its only 1GB,that one also went faulty, display goes funny, and buttons stop resonding.. My advise is,yes..buy the NWZ models,But avoid the NWD series, they are rubbish for reliability..

Ok for 12 months, then the volume control broke.A pity because the sound quality is good and the headphones aren't bad.

Ive had this MP4 player for about 6 months now and I just love it! It stores a lot of songs n photos. I havnt been able to put any videos on it yet though. before I got this, I read that it had 33 hours playback time, however, this is such a lie. It probably only plays songs for about 5-6 hours MAXIMUM!!!

Have had this MP3 player for about 6 months now. Great performance but since I carry it everywhere, only after 2 months the extension had somehow malfunctioned so I abandoned it without considering a replacement due to the fear of the same thing happening. I use my mp3 player on a daily basis, with no extension I have no attached a neck strap which doesn't look that cool but what can I do. The battery life indeed starts to deteriorate after continued use though this is expected. After 6 months the battery life was still adequate. Had no problems with the product until 2 days ago I was at the gym and it suddenly froze. The battery icon had become four flashing circles and then the mp3 gave up on me. Haven't been able to revive it since!

I cant see any fault with this little gadget. I've had it over a week and I am very impressed with it!! I have always had iPods and they have always broken. The build quality and ease of use of this Sony is incredible. I would advise anybody to get one if they are looking for an MP3 player...the video quality is perfect. I'd give this 6* if I could. Excellent
