Reviewed by bamnoy3 on 08-02-2005 Cheaper than an iPod, more expensive than a Rio Carbon! Why did I choose the Sony NW-HD1? The reason was simple - longer battery life. I am often travelling, and I use my mp3 player all the time. The nwhd1 gives me the battery life and the storage that I need. The usb cradle is very convenient, and the player supports a load of formats including atrac3 which gives very good compression without loss of quality. I find that the sound quality is stunning and its nice to be different from the crowd. Rating:
