I got this as a replacemnt for my Ipod MINI as after one year all it ever done was lock up, plus I wanted something with a colour screen. After hearing about the Nano's scratchability and poor battery life, I was put off so set out to look for the alternative. This is what I came across. It's tonnes cheaper than the Nano and the battery life is amazing, so what it's not quite the boasted 35 hrs, but it still beats the Nano hands down. I love the ability to add album art too and you don't need any software to run it, just drag and drop your files. Now if you read that it doesn't have on the go playlists, that is wrong as Samsung have now released a firmware upgrade that includes this feature. As for the control, it's no click wheel but it's not fiddly, just different. It's lightweight too and looks super cool, plus you can add any image and set it as your wallpaper! The volume on the side means you won't accidentally knock your sound up either. The sound quality is on p ar with the ipod with the right earphones, whilst the battery life overruns it by far. A highly recommended buy!
