On returning from Ireland and touring the airport shops I spied this MP3 player. It was reduced from 140 euros to 99.I have wanted one as a toy to play with for some time although I thought when will I ever use it-52 year old life style!Thought it good value for money although now searching web pages I see prices seem to vary enormously-must be according to features/brand names etc.The first use I was impressed although my ears probably prefer a more open sound balance. The earpieces didn't seem to stay in my lugs too well and so I ordered some Sen..PX100's.Much better.Shows player too have good bass control if slightly lacking in openess and treble....same through HI-FI but don't be put off this is minor/personal and unless you are hyper critical the sound is very good. We're talking MP3 player not £1000... HI-FI.I still get a little confused trying to get back to the folder view and often end up in the options menu...my age.The player has an equaliser, but after buying the new headphones I prefer to have it switched off as the accoustic coupling to the ears is so much better. The display is small but I can make it out when I put my glasses on.I originally thought the memory was huge but am surprised how quick you fill up 1GB.Overall view-you won't be disappointed. These hot summer nights/a glass of wine/plug it into your good hi-fi and drift away into the music...what more do you want? You won't be disappointed!
