Mine came with a 128MB SD card. There are only 2 things I don't like about this player: 1. Ear bud phones are terrible, unless you remain completely immobile they tend to pop out. Ear Buds also tend to have somewhat lackluster audio repreduction capabilities, so to get the most out of this player you'll need to buy better headphones. 2. In order to copy music to the SD card you have to use the included software because of the SDMI copy protection. If I didn't already have MusicMatch Jukebox installed I probably wouldn't care. Things I like: 1. The player is incredibly small, about the size of a CF card stacked 4 high, and only slightly larger when in its protective case. Great for jogging or working out. 2. Display, for such a tiny thing the display gives an incredible amount of info ... yes it displays most of the ID3 tag while playing. 3. Athough I said I didn't like that I had to use the included software I will say that it performs very well in comparison to competitive software that I've used before (namely Sony). It is so simple to use it'll completely confuse the tech savy. Just drag and drop. The implementation of SDMI copy protection is outstanding ... you won't even notice it. 4. Sound, I wasn't expecting too much from this unit but it completely surprised me ... I thought that there would be some quality loss due to the addition of copy protection to my audio tracks, but there isn't, the sound is great. It's a shame that Panasonic didn't put a better headset in the package.

I have this model's predecessor, the SV-SD80 and I have to say, it's fantastic! The first thing that strikes you as you open the box is how small the player is - the pics on the internet can't prepare you for that! You get plenty of stuff in the box too - a charging station and mains adapter, a card reader / writer, software, manuals, a neck strap and a splash proof case which holds an external AAA battery for extended play. The sound quality is excellent too, and a colleague of mine that uses an iPod, prefers the sound quality of the Panasonic. Buttons are a bit fiddly, but still very usable and hey, if you want the smallest player available, you've got to have small buttons too! Overall, I have only two minor niggles - firstly, the display isn't backlit. Not a major problem, but it'd be nice to have. The other is probably a personal preference, but with a player that small, which lends itself well to being worn whilst jogging / working out, some earphones that actually made some attempt at staying in my ears would be good. I'll look at spending #20 on some with loops in the near future. So, I would recommend this MP3 player. It's the smallest around, sounds great, looks even better. You won't be disappointed.
