Reviewed by Lawrence-Techno_freak on 14/01/2006 not much about the Ondio stands out from the crowd: screen, song list, buttons. not much else. admittedly, at the price you pay for it, it is
still fantastic buy, with top class sound quality that could embarrass and
iPod mini, and a large screen. the screen however, is not much use in
anything but total sunlight as no backight is fitted, which makes it nigh
on impossible to read. production line lazyness is obvious, as build quality is poor, and the battery cover is useless, because if you knock it or drop it lightly, the batteries shift and the unit screws up
completely. THE SONG MIXER...........
this may just be a fault with my paticular model, but the flash
drive is terrible at offering uninterrupted music. it will play the worng
song, add bits of another song to the song you are listening to, and generally just mix things up. And the music capacity is certainly nothing to write home about, with just 128MB givng you room for aornud 30 low quality songs. its just not enough. i don't recommend it for an adult (but
being only 13 years old who am i to say what adults want!) but if your
just looking to get to grips with MP3, then this is the one for you. Rating:
Reviewed by Peter on 13-07-2004 Allthough the apparatus functioned wonderfully at first, it started to give me troubels after a few weeks. And then it simply stopped. I went to the shop and they gave me another one. Same procedure. Strange, that such an apparatus, that works so wonderfully well, only lasts for some weeks before it becomes impossible to let it come to life again. I advise to buy either another brand or another product of the same brand. This one is no good. Greetings from Holland Peter. Rating:
