Had this TV for 6 months before the green line appeared. The store i purchased this from were offering a 5 year guarantee. Eng came, looked and said 'ahh yes' common problem. The store are offering me another brand to replace the Toshiba with!!!!!

i purchased this model on 23/06/2008 from empiredirect.co. uk on 09/03/2009 a vertical line to the right and one to the centre have appeared.Have been in touch with toshiba,they have said they will replace it within the next to months (still waiting to hear from them) p.s have phoned them a couple of times(they do not like this, there must be a big problen with this tv

i bought this TV back in Nov 07' because it looked good however 7 mnths down the line a green line appeared on left hand side eventually Toshiba stepped in and replaced me with another direct from them ( in the meantime was told by an engineer this was a common fault!) have had this one since sept 08' and you guessed it yes a green line has appeared on this one..so life expectancy on both these TV's has been about 6-7 months! Not good for an item that cost £1400...
