The 32WL66 is the same as Toshiba's currently best-selling LCD television, the Toshiba 32WLT66 except that it lacks a Freeview digital tuner. Instead an analogue TV tuner is integrated into the television. Since analogue TV is due to be switched off some time between 2008 and 2012, the analogue tuner is not likely to be of much use. This TV is therefore going to be of interest if you already have a separate Freeview, cable or satellite set-top box. In this case, the 32WL66 is just the same as the 32WLT66, except that it costs a little less.

We'll just note here that this is a fantastic 32 inch HD Ready TV that offers excellent picture quality, good audio quality and a good set of connection ports, including 2 HDMI connections for connecting HD devices - one for a HD cable or satellite box and one for a Blu-Ray or HD DVD player. In our opinion it offers unbeatable value for money. Please note that although we have rated this product as 4 stars, we have deducted one star because it lacks a digital tuner. If the built-in tuner is of no interest to you, then you should consider this to be a 5 star product.
