The picture quality and colour of this TV made the others look pretty dull in all the shops where I've seen it displayed. While a little more expensive - it looked by far superior. It's true that the shop I bought mine from was playing a Blue ray DVD, and obviously getting the best possible picture - but I'd love to know how to go about (other than trial and error) getting the best settings for my various input devices. The menu is easy to use, and friendly enough - but I don't really understand all the options and am not sure how to ensure that I'm viewing the optimal picture - because at home.... there are no other TV's to compare with.

I have had this T.V for over 2 weeks now and i have to say i am more than happy. I recently changed from a projection tv which i loved, but have never really liked lcd's or plasma's due to rubbish updates and wishy washy colours... But this is great, a 4MS update means there is no shadowing, the blacks are blacks and the picture is so smooth and has great depth.. I have it linked to the sharp DVD Blue ray player and the upscaled standard DVDs and superb and the blue rays look stunning. Lots of connections as you would expect.. The only let down as with all flat screens is the rubbish sound. I always use mine with a 7.1 amp so its no issue but for people paying a lot of money to watch TV without an amp, it sounds like your back in the 50's !!!
